Seventeen.com is a website version of Seventeen Magazine. It caters to young women and addresses topics such as beauty, health, love, and real life. The following information is available for those interested in internships at Seventeen.com:

WHEN IS THE INTERNSHIP HELD?
The internship is held three times during the calendar year: Fall (September-January, applications are due July 15), Spring (January-May, applications are due November 15), and Summer (May-August, applications are due March 15).

HOW ARE INTERNS SELECTED?
Only college students, eligible to receive school credit for their work, are accepted. The internship is unpaid.

Potential interns are asked to submit a cover letter, resume, and two clips or writing samples. The cover letter should indicate why you’re interested in interning at seventeen.com, your college major and expected graduation date, relevant experience, and your availability for both the internship and for a face-to-face interview.

Ideally, we are looking for interns who can commit to a minimum of three full days a week and possess a strong interest in journalism, editing, beauty, fashion, and entertainment.

WHAT ARE SEVENTEEN.COM INTERNS’ DAILY DUTIES?

  • Write and research articles
  • Write quizzes and daily polls
  • Participate in brainstorming meetings
  • Test and troubleshoot the site
  • Check e-mail boxes
  • Make phone calls
  • Research special projects
  • Assist editors in daily tasks
